Jennifer Hibbs, C.B.C.

Certified Behavioral Consultant & Professional Development Specialist

Communications and Soft Skills are a necessary attribute for any professional. Organizations who invest in professional development for their staff are ensuring the growth of the employee which ultimately leads to success for their organization. Investing in industry specific or technical skills trainings for the company’s employees is extremely important to their success. However, there has been an increasing demand for soft skills trainings especially in the last 5 years. A good trainer to teach those soft skills is the key to making the difference between a routine, mandatory attended training, and a memorable training experience those individuals won’t soon forget.

Jennifer Hibbs graduated from Rutgers University, Camden with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Her personal and professional experiences drove her passions for the human race and helped to shape the professional direction she has taken thus far.

Jennifer is passionate about working with and helping other people. She began her career working at a healthcare company as Program Coordinator, specializing in human behavioral rehabilitation. Her responsibilities included, but were not limited to managing the care services for 60 plus children and adolescents; creating and maintaining professional working relationships with the licensed individuals assigned to those clients, as well as networking services to the non-profit organizations she worked with so closely.

Although Jennifer loved her role and the associated responsibilities in behavioral health, she took a new position in healthcare working as the Director of Recruitment for another rehabilitation company. There, she managed a team of recruiters who worked to bring in the staff who ran the organization.   Jennifer also coordinated the monthly new hire orientations, paying close attention to detail specifically as it related to the learning and development process for the new staff. Her experiences, although limited to the healthcare industry, have shaped her knowledge about company and individual behaviors.

Jennifer’s experiences, education, and own professional development have inspired her to become a part of the learning and training process for professionals in their own environments. She uses her previous working practices to relate to the participants she trains. Her knowledge of communication and the role communication skills play in every individual’s success drives Jennifer to teach in such a way that the information is not only received, but absorbed through fun and interactive learning experiences. She is enthusiastic about the learning process and uses her knowledge and energy to inspire others to make changes within their own personal and professional settings.
